Data Deletion Request
You can request deletion of your Multipost account and all personal data we hold about you, including any data we accessed through the Instagram API, at any time. This page explains how.
Option 1 — Disconnect from your dashboard
Sign in to Multipost and open your Dashboard. Under Connected accounts, choose Disconnect next to any Instagram account. This immediately removes the connection and revokes the stored access token for that account. To delete your entire Multipost account and all remaining data, use Option 2 below.
Option 2 — Email us
Send an email to privacy@multipost.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Please include your Multipost account email and, if applicable, the Instagram username(s) you connected. We will verify your identity and process the request.
Option 3 — Revoke access on Instagram
You can remove Multipost's access to your Instagram account directly from Instagram at Settings → Apps and Websites → Active, and remove Multipost. When you do this, Meta notifies us through our deauthorization callback and we delete the access tokens and associated data for that account.
What happens next
- We revoke and delete Instagram access tokens immediately.
- We permanently delete or anonymize your personal data and content within 30 days.
- We may retain a minimal record only where required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
- You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
Automated deletion callback
For requests initiated through Meta, Multipost exposes a Data Deletion Request callback that receives a signed request from Meta, deletes the associated data, and returns a confirmation code and a status URL you can use to track the request. This endpoint is registered in our Meta app configuration.
